Serving Elyria, OH

Is the Honda Pilot the crossover SUV that you have been searching for? This impressive midsize crossover balances a spacious, three-row cabin with ample power behind the wheel and all of the features that today’s drivers want. Before you finalize your purchase, you need to decide between the 2020 and 2021 model years. Our Great Lakes Honda West team is ready to help you learn about the differences.

Performance

In the 2020 Honda Pilot, all trims pull 280 horsepower from a 3.5-liter, V6 gas engine. This same powertrain is in all of the 2021 Honda Pilot trim levels. However, for 2021, this engine is now paired with a nine-speed auto transmission across the board. Cruise control, traction control, anti-locking brakes, and power steering are a few of the many mechanical features in the 2020 and 2021 Honda Pilot.

Appearance

The Honda Pilot’s contemporary yet casual façade is unchanged between the 2020 and 2021 model years. However, the all-new Special Edition trim tops the 2021 trim levels. It has a dramatic color scheme and unique badging. Across the board, the Pilot’s exterior is defined by practical ground clearance, aerodynamic curves and contouring, a Honda-branded grille with a thick bar, and more. Some trims have a hands-free power liftgate, LED headlights, a power moonroof, and a few other items.

Features

Inside the cabin, you will discover that most of the features are unchanged between 2020 and 2021 as you walk up the trim line. However, the base-level Pilot LX for 2021 now has dual-zone auto climate management as a standard feature. Specific features found in some trims across both model years are smart device integration, a sound system, a rear entertainment system, Honda Sensing® safety tech, and more.
