At Great Lakes Honda West, we always keep our inventory filled with exciting possibilities for our customers to check out. Many local car shoppers are drawn to the Accord because of its extensive appeal, exciting features, and excellent capabilities. However, with multiple 2021 Accord trim levels available, you must first narrow down the scope of your search. You can begin by comparing the base LX trim to the top EX-L trim.

The 2021 Accord’s primary powertrain is a turbocharged I-4 engine. This engine produces 191 horsepower, and it is available in both the LX and the EX-L trim levels. A hybrid powertrain is also available in select trims, and it produces 181 horsepower. One of the trim levels that offer the hybrid engine is the EX-L.

The 2021 Honda Accord expresses confidence from bumper to bumper thanks to its flowing, fastback-like profile and its low ground clearance. You will notice very few differences in exterior style between the LX and the EX-L trim levels. The design is also enhanced by dual exhaust finishers, a modified spoiler and dramatically angled LED headlights. Both models also have remote door locks and powered side mirrors. The LX has some distinction from its 17-inch silver-finished alloy wheels. The EX-L has machine-finished 18-inch wheels, body-colored front and rear parking sensors, and courtesy lights.

Some of the Accord’s popularity over the years has stemmed from its excellent features at all trim levels. For 2021, all of the Accord sedans will have an automatic climate control system, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Honda Sensing® safety equipment. If you choose to buy the EX-L trim level, your sedan will have a moonroof, wireless connections, and memory functions for the heated front seats.
